I have been a woodworker for 35 years. I have recently taken an interest in arts and crafts furniture. I build my own drawbore pins after reading an article in WOODWORKING magazine. I have several old tools, one of which is an old Sears Robuck & Co. 8" bench saw (solid cast iron except for the fence and handles.) I like old school methods with hand tools. I have also made solid wood hand planes just like the iron planes and they include wooden blades and wooden cap irons. Like I said, solid wood. I would enjoy getting involved with more lost and forgotten techniques and methodologies. And I would certainly like to find some replacement parts for the aforementioned bench saw. I think it was made in the 1940's.
Special tool interests:
Anything to do with woodworking. Currently looking for antique or reproduction (woodworking, tool, etc) signs that would complement my wood shop.
