It has been a while since I made application to the Old Tool Collector's Network. Thank you. I am honored be apart of the group.

My latest passion is my old Delta wood lathe. It is one of those old cast iron beds on cast iron legs. It is really stable, as I can stand a nickle on end and turn it on, and it stays standing! Never having operated a lathe, I started out turning between centers. Nothing flew back at me, so I progressed on to bowl turning. Now what they are good for is beyond me, but they are fun to do. Of all of my shop tools, I think I enjoy it the most. Not to down grade the saws, planer, sanders ect. they all have their place. All are apart of the shop and add to my enjoyment working with wood.........bed time....by....Max
